Denise is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (registration #115108) who graduated from Southern California Seminary with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She previously earned a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy (license #601849 in Oregon) and has worked for several years with children who are survivors of abuse/neglect, mental illness, autism, developmental disabilities, etc. in settings such as a psychiatric hospital, a school, an outpatient clinic, an orphanage, and a transitional living program. She has worked with parents in those settings and also with adults and children transitioning from homelessness. She enjoys helping others overcome and has experienced how vital her relationship with God has been in her own process. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, writing, gardening, and crafting.
