Irenda Rios, is an Associate in Marriage and Family Therapy (AMFT104526). She is fluent in English and Spanish. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Science Psychology from San Diego State University and a Master of Science in Counseling in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from University of Phoenix. Irenda Rios has been active for thirteen years by aiding and providing services to families and children with different backgrounds and in different rural areas. She has had extensive years of experience working with various types of disorders such as Bipolar spectrum, schizophrenia, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety and depression. Additional experience includes working closely with children diagnosed with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity. Also, she has worked with substance abuse victims, hospice patients dealing with bereavement, child human trafficking, sexual assault and battered intervention groups. Currently, she is working with domestic violence victims and offenders, providing substance abuse therapy, sex addiction therapy, anger management training and parenting training under the direct supervision of Dr. Julie Hayden (PSY24184). A significant portion of her work experience was being part of the 2018 family reunification with the Office of Refugee Resettlement mission through the Department of Health & Human Services.
